HRD PTFE Thermal Intake Manifold Gasket for 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si (K24Z7)

The HRD PTFE Thermal Intake Manifold Gasket is a custom CNC cut gasket, made out of premium PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as Teflon. Compared to inferior thermoplastics, PTFE provides lower thermal conductivity and superior sealing ability.

This thermal gasket has been designed to work in conjunction with a coolant delete, such as from Tractuff. It also serves as a stencil when cutting your intake manifold so that you can achieve the perfect cut.

Intake manifold gaskets are exposed to high temperatures from the engine and intake air. PTFE can withstand extreme heat, typically up to 260°C (500°F) and even higher for short durations, without degrading or losing its integrity. PTFE is chemically inert, meaning it resists reacting with most substances, including automotive fluids such as gasoline, oil, and coolant.
