APR Performance S-GT Widebody Aerodynamic Kit Toyota MR-S Spyder 2000-2005

Introducing the MR-2 Spyder S-GT Wide Body Kit by APR, crafted to enhance traction and aerodynamic performance for this lightweight roadster rocket. With a curb weight just a little over 2,000 lbs, the MR-2 Spyder is among the lightest roadsters available today. However, when boosting its power, the stock body and wheels can be overwhelmed, necessitating upgrades to maintain traction and stability.

The S-GT Wide Body Kit addresses these challenges comprehensively. Recognizing that mid-engine rear-wheel-drive cars like the MR-2 Spyder are prone to snappy oversteer due to their center of gravity, the kit includes components to increase front-wheel traction. This includes a front splitter and canards to improve downforce and balance. Enlarged side intake ducts are integrated to enhance airflow into the engine bay, optimizing engine performance.

To maximize rear-wheel traction, the S-GT kit features a GTC-300 Adjustable Carbon Fiber Wing. This addition enhances stability and control, especially during high-speed maneuvers. Despite its race-inspired functionality, the S-GT Wide Body Kit maintains a clean street aesthetic.
