The CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System, designed for 2014 to 2017 models (production from 04/2013+), offers a dynamic driving experience with its ability to switch between an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving. This is achieved through vacuum-actuated valve flaps that adjust based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves are closed for a deeper note, while wide-open throttle releases the full sound of the engine. The exhaust valves are controlled by backpressure and are user-programmable via the included CES-3 Control Module, offering three modes: Cruise, Sport, and Open, each tailored to different driving scenarios.
The Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed for specific backpressure settings, providing precise control based on personal preferences. Engineered and manufactured in Germany, CAPRISTO Exhaust systems utilize advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, and CNC-bending/milling, made from high-grade T309 stainless steel, hand-polished to a mirror finish. This specific alloy was selected for its exceptional resonance properties, low weight, and durability, comparable to Inconel used in F1.
