The iconic CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System offers the perfect balance between an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration and a more subdued tone for city driving.
This dual sound feature is achieved with vacuum-actuated valve flaps that open and close based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves remain closed, producing a deeper, quieter exhaust note. At wide-open throttle, the valves open, unleashing the full symphony of the engine's power.
The exhaust valves are backpressure-controlled by the OEM Valve Actuators, ensuring seamless integration with the vehicle's system.
CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured using advanced 3D laser-scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at our factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This specific alloy was chosen for its superior sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability, closely matching the performance of Inconel, a material used in F1.
