The iconic CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System offers a perfect balance, delivering an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration while maintaining a more subdued sound for city driving. This adaptability is made possible by vacuum-actuated valve flaps that adjust based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves close to produce a deeper exhaust note, while at wide-open throttle, the valves open to unleash the full symphony of the engine.
The exhaust valves are backpressure-controlled and can be user-programmed via the included CES-3 Control Module, which provides three modes: Cruise, Sport, and Open. The Cruise mode opens the valves at higher RPMs, Sport opens them at lower RPMs and during hard acceleration, and Open keeps the valves permanently open. Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed for specific backpressure settings, allowing for precise control tailored to the driver’s preferences.
CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured in Germany, utilizing advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling techniques. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand-polished to a mirror finish. This alloy was specifically chosen for its sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability, closely mirroring the properties of Inconel, which is used in F1 racing.
