Capristo Exhaust Valved Exhaust System for Porsche 987 Boxster 2005-2012
The CAPRISTO system, designed exclusively for the Porsche 987 Boxster (First Generation), includes both the muffler and the back pressure control unit. This system offers a straightforward "bolt-on" installation and is compatible with OEM headers.
The CAPRISTO Exhaust Control Box, included with the system, allows for programmable control via a remote. It monitors exhaust gas back pressure to optimize performance. This control unit features three modes:

Cruise Mode: Exhaust valves open later

Sports Mode: Exhaust valves open earlier

Open Mode: Exhaust valves remain open
In Cruise and Sports modes, the system can be tailored to specific back pressure settings, enhancing performance based on driving style. The control unit adapts to aggressive acceleration by opening the valves sooner, while normal driving results in a delayed valve opening.
Constructed from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, similar to Inconel, the system is hand-polished to a mirror finish. TUV Certification is available for this system.
