Capristo Exhaust Valved Exhaust System (CES3) For Porsche 987 Cayman 2006-2012
The CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System offers the best of both worlds, delivering an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving. This system uses vacuum-actuated valve flaps that adjust based on driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds, the valves close for a deeper sound, while at wide-open throttle, they open to unleash the full symphony of the engine.
The exhaust valves are controlled by backpressure and can be customized using the included CES-3 Control Module, which provides three modes operated via a remote key fob:

Cruise: Valves open at higher RPMs.

Sport: Valves open at lower RPMs and during hard acceleration.

Open: Valves remain open.
Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed to adjust when the exhaust valves open, allowing for precise control based on the driver’s preferences.
CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured in Germany using advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital Prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling. Each system is made of high-grade T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This specific alloy was chosen for its excellent sonic resonance, low weight, and durability, similar to Inconel used in F1 racing.
