Capristo Exhaust Valved Exhaust System for Lamborghini Murcielago LP580 2001-2010
The iconic CAPRISTO Valved Exhaust System delivers an ideal balance, offering an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration while maintaining a more subdued sound for city driving. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves remain closed, producing a deeper exhaust note. When the throttle is wide open, the valves open, unleashing the full symphony of the engine.
The opening and closing of the CAPRISTO valves are controlled by the engine's ECU, mirroring the operation of the original exhaust system. The OEM vacuum pipes integrate seamlessly into the CAPRISTO valve system. Alternatively, the Capristo Standard Remote can be fitted to provide the ability to open and close the valves with the push of a button. When closed, control is returned to the ECU.
CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are meticulously engineered and manufactured in Germany, utilizing advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and is hand-polished to a mirror finish. This specific alloy was selected for its exceptional sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability, closely matching the characteristics of Inconel used in F1 racing.
