Mounting and Compatibility:
- Mounting Bracket: The factory F430 exhaust mounting bracket has a critical design flaw that can lead to stress and damage. Capristo’s upgraded bracket features four spring-mounted hanging points to accommodate heat expansion (up to 1.5 inches), preventing damage to headers and catalytic converters. This bracket is included with both Capristo F430 exhaust systems (Valved and Freeflow).
- Installation Note: Headers should not be torqued beyond 24 Nm (17.5 foot-pounds) to prevent stud failure or cylinder head damage.
