Genuine rubber brake hoses have the weakness of being susceptible to heat. This is especially noticeable during hard braking.
Due to the high temperature of the brake fluid, the rubber is forced to expand thermally, and the pedaling allowance becomes deeper or becomes a sponge.
With this, accurate brake control is not what you want.
