Optimized for use with the 6260RC air compressor, this heavy-duty switch features a standard 5% PSI variance tolerance and operates on 12-volt ignition power to signal a required SPDT 30-amp relay (Kleinn Model 340), safely turning the compressor on and off automatically. For maximum system protection, it is highly recommended to pair this switch with a 145 PSI safety relief valve (SKU 52145) installed on the air tank; in the event of a pressure switch failure, the safety valve will release a burst of air to alert you to cut power to the compressor, preventing a costly burn-out until the switch can be replaced.
