Description:
The RennTech R2 Performance Package is the perfect entry level performance upgrade for the CLS 55 AMG. Performance package R2 takes performance to the next level and is a step up from our R1 tuning package. The R2 performance package includes the same components found in our R1 package with the addition of a full carbon fiber airbox, RennTech stainless steel exhaust headers, 82 mm throttle body upgrade and our high efficiency intercooler pump.
The R2 performance package increases performance to 588HP and 616TQ at the crank, without sacrificing daily driver comfort or reliability and offer huge gains across the entire RPM range. Due to increased power and boost levels, 93 Octane or higher gasoline has to be used with R2 upgraded RennTech vehicles to avoid damage to the engine. States known for poor fuel quality have to be supplied with a lower power setup.
