Durability of the belt is reduced from higher rotation of the engine, installation of high lift camshaft, increasing transfer torque from performance valve springs, and heat from the turbo, engine, and cooling system. The TOMEI Strengthen Timing Belt has Kevlar Fiber construction for increased tensile strength and a H- NB rubber ingredient combined with a glass cable core for optimal performance.
