Featuring a motorsports-derived chassis and a powerplant from the RS4, the R8 became known as a great driver_x0019_s car but left some wanting more. Our team of engineers saw this as an opportunity and designed our V8 Supercharger Kit to elevate the R8 V8's performance to the level it should have had from the factory. Utilizing a Magnuson TVS1900 Roots style blower The supercharger is affixed to a water cooled cast manifold with additional cooling efficiency provided by its own water reservoir and auxiliary front mount heat exchanger. Boost pressures are immediate and consistent across the entire rev range, and controlled by an internal air bypass system designed to virtually eliminate parasitic loss at cruising speeds. Power is increased to 595HP and 420 FT-TQ while still keeping the factory driver characteristics and reliability.
