For this very reason, Volk Racing made the TE37V.
The TE37V features the same mold-forged aluminum construction you’ll find on all Volk Racing wheels. This type of construction is significantly stronger and lighter than a cast construction, which ultimately improves handling by reducing un-sprung weight.
And as we all know, old Japanese classics are pretty light – devoid of any additional weight safety systems bring these days.
The TE37V, in particular, is specifically designed and engineered for classic Japanese cars such as the AE86 Corolla, Datsun 510, and Datsun 240Z which are very popular cars for the old-school Japanese car scene. With the face of the wheel pushed back into the barrel, the lip of the TE37V is very large compared to standard TE37 wheels. Unlike other vintage wheels on the aftermarket, the TE37V without skimping on build quality.
